April 2017 Beauty Favorites

April 2017 Beauty Favorites!

Hello, All I have been busy I moved, my main business is booming so I have not had the proper time to sit and blog more. But I will be getting back to the regular schedule this week! I am starting the week off with my April 2017 Beauty Favorites! I have been finding and trying many cool beauty products lately that I cannot wait to share with you. April I tried 4 stands out products that I haven’t stopped using since buying.  These products are each really great and they are all pretty affordable as well which is a win-win. So let’s get into my favorite beauty products of April…

1.Nia Gold Anti Wrinkle Day Serum – $7.99 at TJmaxx (if you can find it) or $65.00 on their website this serum is A M A Z I N G I used this for 4 weeks and it changed my skin for the better. This product helps to moisturize, firm, correct discoloration, and improve skin elasticity, It is very light weight and very moisturizing. My skin is dryer acne prone skin and this leaves my skin feeling so rejuvenated. No, I do not have any lines or wrinkles but I use it for the other benefits and its never too early to start a good routine :). So I highly recommend you try this serum!

2.E.L.F Highlighting HD Powder – $6.00 (I found this on the website but never in stores) So I love highlighter and was looking for a new one to try out and I was shopping on E.L.F and came across this highlighter. WOW, this highlighter is way more pigmented than their baked ones and picks up well on a good highlighter brush. I swipe the brush a few times in the pan than knock off any excess before applying and it goes on strong so watch out. If you are a highlighter junkie for $6.00 this is great definitely go to E.L.F’s site and buy one.

3.BH Cosmetics BH Liquid Lipsticks – $14.00 I am obsessed with liquid lipstick and everyone who loves me knows this! So when I saw ULTA had BH Cosmetics I was stoked because I wanted to try the liquid lips for awhile and I am glad that I did. BH Cosmetics Liquid Lipstick has a very velvety smooth formula it goes on like a dream and stays on forever. The colors are pretty I tried the color ‘Clara’ and it is my go to nude lippie. I plan to go cop more and if you love a good liquid lip you should too!

4.Hard Candy Color Correct Cushion Wonder – $6.00 To me these are a better formula than L.A Colors HD Color Correcter’s. Hard Candy has got my attention because lately whenever I try something from them it is pretty damn good for the affordability. Their newest launch has these color correctors and they work very very well! The only miss for me is that they need some color correctors for skin tones darker than mine (so medium brown tone). Besides that the peach one works for me beautifully, this color corrector really neutralizes dark spots and blends well into the skin. If you are looking to try a new color corrector try these!

I hope you enjoyed my April Beauty Favorites & I hope you try some or all of them!

Let me know of any beauty products I should try on social media or in the comments below.

March Beauty Favorites

March 2017 beauty favorites

march 2017 beauty favorites

Another month another beauty favorites this is one of my favorite posts to do every month because beauty is one of my loves. SO here we go with some of my favorite beauty products I used in March:

1. Wet N Wild Photofocus Setting Spray – OMG this is 4.00 and it is amazing I set my face with this and my makeup stays put since I have dry skin and do not use powder to set this really does the trick. This setting spray does come in a small bottle so you might want to buy two it is worth it.

2. L.A Colors Eyeshadow Palette in Nude – For $1.00 this is sooo good it is very pigmented and blends well the colors are really pretty, and perfect for warm skin tones and that’s what drew me to the palate in the first place. I have been looking for a palette that can create multiple looks that isn’t huge and bulky especially for travel, this is perfect. So either go online or go to dollar tree and pick this up today.

3.Yes to Coconuts Lip Cooling Oil – So I will say this first I do not like this for day wear BUT night time overnight wear it is great and you will wake up with really hydrated lips. So My tip is apply before bed and boom there’s your hydration for your lips. It is also all natural ingredients so it’s perfect 🙂

4.Ellen Tracy Pretty Petals Perfume – I am a fragrance junkie and have favs maybe I’ll do a post soon on them but this is a new one that I like a lot! It is so pretty and fresh for spring and summer with soft floral notes it is not too strong or overpowering! This gem was about $7.99 at TJmaxx and online I found it for $12.00 so it is super affordable as well.

I hope you try out some of this list let me know what you think and what products you have been trying or want me to try in the comments below

Beauty Favorites February 2017

Beauty Favorites February 17

Beauty Favorites February 2017.

So it is a new month already and another month of beauty so here are my beauty favorites for February.

One of the products on this list is pretty expensive and I had been trying for a few months before it made it on this list other than that everything is affordable and something I really love so let’s get into it.

  1. Makeup Revolution London Strobe Highlighter in Gold Addict – I have been looking for a really nice super pigmented highlighter to try because none of the ones I have tried were giving me exactly the oomph beam me up Scotty look I wanted. I tried the E.L.F highlighter and was very disappointed & (yes I scraped the top off first) . I love E.L.F by the way and have put other products on these lists that I love but anyways Makeup revolution’s strobe highlighter has some miss colors that are not as pigmented but this Gold Addict one is AMAZING. It looks beautiful and goes on smooth which I love because it doesn’t move my foundation. It gives you a crazy glow so this is not for someone who wants something subtle, you can also build it up more if one swipe is not enough :).
  2.  Rose Hip Seed Oil – Rose hip seed oil is a natural oil with many skin benefits I have used this for awhile as well. Rose hip seed oil moisturizes your skin, helps with hyperpigmentation, reduces fine lines and much more, You can also use it in your hair! How I use this oil is I wash my face then apply toner, then apply the oil all over my face let it soak in and put a night cream over or sometimes I just do toner then the rose hip seed oil, either way I wake up with glowing perfect skin naturally.
  3.  No No laser hair removal – This is my pricey beauty pick that I have been using for months to see if it really worked. I was skeptical at first because a lot of those as seen on tv things are gimmicks but honestly, after 4 months my hair doesn’t grow where I have lasered. This required consistent use for at least 8 weeks to see results so it is not a quick fix and you will need to probably still use your other hair removal process along with this until your hair stops growing but it DOES WORK. Now there are two models and the non-pro version I have read a lot of negative reviews about it not working but the pro version that I have got works pretty damn well. I suggest looking to see if you can find it for cheaper because some sites have it cheaper.
  4. Hard Candy Matte Metallic Mousse – This is $6.00 So I loaded up on a few I got Smoke n Mirrors, Penny Wise, And Glided Cocoa GIRL! For $6.00 this is pretty damn great. It goes on very smooth it is already matte and dries down a little bit not super matte like a normal liquid matte lipstick and it does not dry out your lips. If you have been wanting to try metallic mattes this is a good way to go there are so many colors and they are super affordable.
  5.  Milani Powdered Rose Blush– Milani is one of my favorite drug store brands that many times doesn’t even seem like it’s really drugstore makeup. Every product I try it usually a hit for me. This blush is amazing and not overly powdery and heavy, It goes on like smooth butter and leaves a nice color on your cheeks that isn’t clown looking like some blushes.

Hope you enjoyed the reviews all in all these products are great you will definitely want to try some out!

November & December Beauty Favs 2016

November and December Beauty Favorites 2016

So here are my beauty favs for November & December I decided to wait to do both months as a kind of end of the year cumulative of my favorite beauty products I have used over the last two months. These range from $.99 – $23.00 so they are pretty affordable but amazing products that I have been using over the last two months, You will definitely want to try these! as usual I have listed each and their price below and a lil review about each. Let me know what you think in the comments below.

Top Left Corner: Wet n Wild highlighter in Boozy Brunch $5.00 – GIRL this highlighter packs a punch it is super pigmented especially if you use a powder brush you will be shining so be careful but it is beautiful and give you a nice glow, for 5.00 it is a super good highlighter.

Top Center: Clean Sweep Makeup Brush Cleaner $3.99 – If you use a lot of powders or use dark then light eyeshadows this little can is a dream. Basically, it is a silver tin with a sponge type thing inside and you sweep your brush around after each use to get all the color off and when I say it gets all the powder out of your brush I mean it. I have been doing a lot of different eye looks lately and it allows me to use the same brush in dark eyeshadow then clean it and use it in light without color transfer I love it! I suggest everyone get one of these.

Top Right Corner: Wet n Wild White Brushes $0.99-$3.00 – These brushes are great for anyone looking for some affordable makeup brushes. They have 17 brushes and you can build your brush collection easily and affordably. They are soft, apply products well, cruelty free, and easy to clean. What more can you ask for? You can find these at Dollar Tree, Walgreens, and of course Wet n Wilds website.

Center Left: BHCosmetics Eyeshadow Palette in Neutral $7.00 (at TJMaxx $12.00 on their website) – BH Cosmetics is a new line for me I bought a palette at TJmaxx for $7.00 and was amazed and so happy with how pigmented these babies are I had to go back and get another one of their palettes. These palettes are a great buy for anybody looking to get their money’s worth, wants a super pigmented shadow, a lot of different beautiful colors in one package. I highly suggest these!

Center Right: Vaseline Lip Balm in Pink Bubbly (Limited Edition) $4.49 – I actually had wanted this for awhile and when I saw it at Walgreens I screamed! This lip balm is really good and smells just like champagne. This even has wine in the ingredients and comes in a sleek little tin to take with you anywhere. If you want something a little special and cool grab this.

Bottom Left Corner: Silicone Face Scrubber $1.00 – I am all for gentle things to use on your skin and we all know you should exfoliate once a week this little baby makes that gentle and easy. This is easy to clean as well and had a little suction on the back so you can slap it on the wall to air dry.

Bottom Center: 24K Gold Gel Sheet Mask $2.99 – I love any crazy mask so when I saw these I was like ooo yes. They have $1000.00 versions of these and for $2.99 you can feel luxurious too. These have a bit of a strong fragrance but after you use it your skin is left glowing and beautiful.

Bottom Right Corner: Tarte Maneater Mascara $23.00 – I was at Ulta on my birthday and saw this disgustingly cute packaging and saw that it was a volumizing mascara and had to grab it. First off it comes in gold and leopard print packaging how cute? Then it claims 23x the volume and it does deliver! I love love this mascara it is my new favorite after better than sex by Too Faced. If you have been looking for a new mascara to try get this one it is amazing and delivers on it’s promise.

Top 5 Beauty Favs : October

beauty favs october

Yess, it is that time again for my top beauty favs! October was a quick little month and I came across more great beauty finds to share with everyone. This month’s list of beauty favs range from $1-$9 so it is extremely affordable and one of my finds comes from the dollar tree. So let’s get into my list 1. Colormates eyeshadow palette in ‘Garden Party’ – This little palette is only $1.00! I loved the center 6 colors great range of neutral tones and I bought two of them because of the price. Tneutralhadow is cruelty and parabean free as well which makes it a great purchase. Application wise they are highly pigmented, they blend well, and doesn’t have too much fallout at a dollar you cannot beat that! 2. Yes to coconut hydrating face wipes – These are a dream and are great for on the go or just to freshen up and hydrate your face. They smell amazing, feel amazing, and truly give your face a fresh and hydrated feeling immediately. 3.Milani Amore Matte Liquid Lipstick Metallic in Rose Gold – Besides my love of matte liquid lipsticks and rose gold these are an amazing formula! I have had these for 2 months and kept forgetting to put them on my lists. Let’s start by saying they are under $10 and it is hard to find cheap matte liquid lipsticks that are good for under $10. They dry down within 2 minutes and literally stay on all day as long as you don’t kiss oil :). I love these and have 3 shades and plan to get a few more. 4. Vitamin E Oil – I have actually been using this for awhile on my face especially on blemishes and any dry areas overnight to moisturize and heal. Adding Vitamin E oil to your face routine is a cheap way to help heal imperfections! At $3 at many stores you can get this little bottle and use it after you moisturize wake up and notice the difference in your skin. 5. Garnier Fructis Skin Renewal Under Eye Roller – Do you get dark circles or puffiness in the morning under your eyes ? Try this little gem I have been using this forever and love it . Many times I can use it under my eyes let it sit and then I don’t even need to conceal. It contains caffeine, vitamins in a cooling gel to calm your puffiness and bring circulation to your under eye area to clear away dark circles fast. Try this I know you will love it! So that is my Top 5 Beauty Favs for October I hope you find a new item to add to your routine and love it as much I do!     Top 5 Beauty Favs October

My Top 10 Best Beauty Tips

Top 10 Beauty Tips

My Top 10 Beauty Tips

I have been loving beauty since I was younger and after years of trying so many different things I wanted to share my top beauty tips with you all! These are my best tips for inner and outer beauty because true beauty starts on the inside and transcends outwardly. So read and try these out if you do not already have them adopted into your own routine and see how your body and skin changes:

  1. Drink Water & Cut out soda, juices, anything with extra sugar. (Added bonus add lemon, lime, cucumbers, etc for added detoxifying benefits)
  2. Moisturize I use only coconut oil on my skin and in my hair now a days and my skin has never been so subtle and nice!
  3. Eat green vegetables & fruits especially high in vitamin C & E such as pineapple, grapes, oranges, spinach, kale, collard greens.
  4. Cut down or cut out dairy I have found many people are intolerant to lactose and many times dairy can cause breakouts. For me personally dairy causes me to break out try this if you notice increased breakouts after eating dairy.
  5. Wash your face with luke warm water and always splash cool water on your face after washing to close your pores.
  6. For body acne or discoloration try sulfur soap its all natural and helps to clear your skin FAST!
  7. Change your pillow cases, wash cloths, towels, and clean your phone and makeup brushes weekly to cut bacteria and prevent breakouts.
  8. To quickly clear up breakouts use a super gentle cleanser like Cetaphil & treat spots with Salicylic Acid.
  9. Exfoliate your face weekly to get rid of dull dead skin and help turn over new skin faster, also exfoliate your lips daily with a lip scrub such as my DIY one ;).
  10. Look in the mirror everyday and tell yourself you are beautiful 🙂 ( It is so important to talk positive to yourself & these positive words will shine through!)

my-top-5-beauty-picks-september-2016

Hey, everyone! September flew by and I tried some amazing products that I know you all will love as well.

Every product on this list is pretty affordable this month with two favs coming from ELF <3. These 5 beauty products are now staples in my beauty arsenal. Some of these I have wanted to try for awhile and now I am wondering why did I wait? So here are my top 5 beauty picks for September try them and I hope you love them as much as I do!

  1. ELF Mincellar Cleansing Water – So first off ELF honey come through! ELF has been making some really great new products and this is one of them. The Mincellar cleansing water is AMAZING I used it after I worked out, after washing my face, and just when I wanted to freshen up. WOW, it makes your face soft, glowy, and really cleans your skin. I also like that it moisturizes leaving the skin beautiful. I will be buying this when it runs out.

2. Palmers Lip Butter in Dark Chocolate & Peppermint – I am always on the hunt for the perfect lip balm and I think I have found it. My go to is usually strawberry chapstick but Palmers Dark Chocolate & Peppermint Lip butter is life changing my lips have gotten so much softer since using it and I love it so much I already bought 4 more 🙂 . I wear lipstick a lot and you need that deep moisturizing this provides that and stays put for a long time.

3. Pure Ice Nail Polish in Absolutely Mauveless – For $2.00 I have never found a more beautiful color! It dries quickly with two coats, glides on smooth, and is perfect for fall! I love love love this color that’s all I can say just go buy it 🙂

4. Laneige Water Sleeping Mask – This is the most expensive product on my list at $24 but it is so worth the money! Laneige is a Korean skin care company and they have some amazing products. This Water sleeping mask is a skin changer! My skin has evened out, became visibly more smooth, and seems to be retaining moisture better. I love this you can use it twice a week and you wake up the next day with glowy and soft skin.

5. ELF Baked Eyeshadow in Bark – So I love ELF and they sent me a gift bag with a big purchase I made this little gem was inside of it and I am so happy it was! Bark is a beautiful rich metallic dark brown/silverish color, it is absolutely stunning on. This color is perfect for Fall/Winter and I have already worn it quite a few times. I will be checking out more colors from this line of their eyeshadows.

My Top 5 Beauty Picks – August 2016

top5august2016

top5beautypicksbanner

Hey, Yall! I have not done a top beauty picks post in awhile but I will be bringing it back. I am obsessed with these products right now I use them every day! Over the years I have tried so many beauty products and every time I find one I like I have to talk about it and obsess over it hehe.

So right now the top 5 products I am loving are :

  1. Biore Skin Penetrating Charcoal Bar – I have been using this for 4 months now and it is my savior it has cleared my face up so much. I glow after each use and feel like my skin is extra clean. I have combo skin mostly dry and it has lessened that for me I recommend this to anyone with my skin type.
  2. Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in Unicorn Blood – Come alll the way through! I LOVE THIS LIPSTICK! I have tried so many brands of liquid matte lipstick and this is the best formula and the pigment is opaque! Also love how it goes on and doesn’t budge. The color is also beautiful and a good red for fall. Jeffree Star is also cruelty-free 🙂 so it is right up my alley.
  3. Essence Waterproof Eyeliner Pen – So I have also tried my fair share of eyeliners and never have I found one that goes on very dark and stays on the waterline as well but this is one super affordable & two meets the other two checks stays on all day and goes on dark. I love this find and it is at Target or Ulta.
  4. Better Than Sex Waterproof Mascara – Too Faced always delivers and their waterproof version of the original better than sex mascara is no different. I love how this stays put for those hot days or if your eyes get watery from allergies. It has the classic ability to make anyone’s eyelashes look like falsies and doesn’t really dry out and crumble like the original can sometimes. If you don’t know about this mascara i highly suggest trying it out.
  5. Garnier Skin Active Moisture Rescue – Like I stated above my skin can get dry and this little jar of cool gel super hydrates my skin. A lot goes a long way and absorbs into your skin quickly, I love how it cools! If you have tried other products and find your skin still try or they don’t absorb well this one is one to try!

I hope you find something you want to try and hope you love them like I do check out the graphic below for pricing! Let me know what you think in the comments below.
