This is a guilt free dessert that is an absolute treat that will satisfy any sweet tooth. I make many different variations of this I blend with nut butter or other fruits. I even made a cookies and cream kind with protein powder the possibilities are endless. I recommend you try this whether you still eat dairy or regular ice cream or not you won't be disappointed!

1/2 cup Frozen Black Cherries

2 tbsp Dark Cocoa Powder

4 tbsp Plain Almond or Coconut Milk

Optional Toppings

1 tbsp Dark Chocolate Chips

2 tbsp Any Nut Butter of Your Choice

2After bananas are a bit blended down add frozen cherries and keep blending until it is a creamy ice cream like consistency about 2-3 minutes

You might have to stop the blender and break up any bananas that gather too much on the bottom and stop the blender from blending the chunks.

Pineapple Whip

  ,

August 16, 2016

This healthy & light dessert will leave you speechless! One of the best things is it is VERY easy to make and VERY satisfying.
Pineapple whip is an easy and super cool dessert, perfect for anytime you are craving sherbert and want something healthy. Also it is perfect for these hot summer days. This recipe is one of my earlier ones (you can tell by the photo lol). Try this easy dessert and let me know what you think in the comments!

  • Prep: 3 hrs
  • Cook: 10 mins
  • Yields: 4 Servings
pineapple whip

Ingredients

1 Whole Fresh pineapple cut into chunks or Could use pre-packaged frozen pineapple

1 cup Almond or soy milk

2 tbsp *Optional Dark Chocolate or Coconut shavings

Directions

13 hrs or more of freezing time for fresh pineapple

2You will need a high-quality food processor since frozen pineapple is very hard and you will need the food processor to blend it nicely ( & do all the work)

3Combine frozen pineapple and almond milk into food processor and start on high checking every minute or so that it is starting to break down into an ice cream like consistency. Use a rubber spoon to scrape sides and stir checking that it is not too loose of a consistency

4After about 5 minutes, it should be at the creamy consistency you see in the photo if it's not pulse for a minute or so more. Lastly, Serve up and enjoy alone or with suggested toppings
